Original Poem: A Path Called Thanksgiving

I have never written poetry and I read very little of it. Both of these statements will be self-evident soon enough. 🙂 Nevertheless, my kids have been composing poems so I thought I would try my hand. Here goes!

Composed: March 25-May 15, 2020

I wrote and tweaked this over the last couple months while using my favorite app that helps me focus so I can do creative things. If you would be helped by something like this, they’re offering 40% off a lifetime subscription on all your devices through the rest of May. It’s a pretty good deal.

Trent. Outstanding job. Loving poetry and the well turned phrase all my life …my eyes flew right to this. My son writes beautiful verse. At any painful or joyful moment in our lives …we probably have a sonnet or two from him. Carry on! It s a joy filled way to live. Love you. Joanne

Great job Trent, especially having never written poetry before. The words are very inspirational. Continue to write.
