Ephesians 2:6 declares we have been “raised up with [Christ] and seated with him in the heavenly places.” While we physically still dwell on earth, positionally we share in the authority, victory, and security of Christ’s rule over every power. This world has nothing left to offer us, because our true life is now hidden with Christ in God. We are as safe and irreversibly connected to God in Christ as the saints already worshiping forever around his throne. No earthly trouble, spiritual attack, sickness, or financial distress can ever separate us from the love of God in Christ. His resurrection life has become ours, and we have been elevated to reign with him in the heavenlies even now. What wondrous love is this!
