Anniversary Questionnaire Game: Add a Little Fun to Your Celebration

Are you looking for a fun and engaging way to celebrate your anniversary with your spouse? Look no further! I have the perfect game for you: the Anniversary Questionnaire Game.

This game is designed to help couples learn more about each other and strengthen their bond by asking and answering questions about their relationship. To play, simply follow these steps:

  1. Each person should prepare a list of 10-15 questions that they would like to ask their partner. The questions can be serious, funny, or a mix of both. (See this page for more sample questions)
  2. Take turns asking and answering the questions.
  3. As you ask and answer the questions, try to be honest and open with your responses. The goal is to learn more about each other and to strengthen your connection.
  4. After you have asked and answered all of the questions, take some time to reflect on what you have learned about each other and how your relationship has grown and changed over the past year.
  5. Celebrate your anniversary by doing something special together, such as going out to dinner or planning a fun activity. You might even consider playing the game while doing one of these activities.

Some of you will be content to play the game just like it is. But if you ask me, it’s not really a game if there is no scoring system. To add a little competition to the game, here is a scoring system you can use as it is, or adjust as needed:

  • 2 points for each question answered with honesty and vulnerability
  • 3 points for each question that leads to a meaningful conversation or deeper understanding of each other
  • 4 points for each question that leads to a shared goal or plan for the future
  • And don’t forget the bonus points! Award 5 points for each question that makes your partner laugh or smile.

At the end of the game, tally up the points and see who comes out on top. Determine ahead of time what the winner of the game wins, such as a homemade dinner or a favorite movie night.

To prime your question pump, here are a few more sample questions to use in the Anniversary Questionnaire Game:

  • What is your favorite memory of our relationship so far?
  • What is something new you have learned about me since we’ve been together?
  • What do you appreciate most about me?
  • What are your hopes and dreams for our future together?
  • What are some things you want to work on or improve in our relationship?
  • What are some things you want to do or try together in the next year?
  • How have you seen our relationship grow and change over the past year?

Remember, the goal of the game is to celebrate, have fun, and learn more about each other. So relax and enjoy this special time together!
